Promote a culture of excellence in quality, person-centred care. Advance inter/intra-professional practice and learning priorities that support clinical transformation to improve health outcomes, especially in relation to sexual, domestic, and other forms of interpersonal violence response. Foster clinical leadership, transition to practice, and practice progression. Consult community SANE programs and NSH staff with respect to clinical standardization, workforce optimization, and addressing professional practice issues. Manage organizational change. Manage provincial SANE budget and oversee/ensure SANE program accountabilities regarding contracts and budgets.

Establish and maintain new SANE program in a unionized environment; purchase equipment; meet with key stakeholders; hire and train staff; assist with developing and altering existing policies; quality control through chart audits and ongoing staff education; collect and audit timesheets; create monthly SANE schedule; prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports; conduct public awareness and educational presentations.
